How ChatGPT pricing works
Individual plans. Free costs $0. Go is $8 a month (monthly billing only; OpenAI notes it may include ads). Plus is $20 a month. Pro has three tiers at $100, $200 and $500 a month; the larger tiers include more usage, and Pro 500 includes Ultrafast.
Business (formerly Team). Business, renamed from ChatGPT Team on 29 Aug 2025, has two seat types. A Standard seat is $25 a month or $20 a month billed annually. A Premium seat (about 5x the usage of Standard, no 5-hour limit) is $125 or $100. A workspace needs at least 2 seats in total.
Enterprise, Edu and nonprofits. Enterprise and Edu prices aren’t published, so you have to contact sales. OpenAI for Nonprofits offers up to 75% off Business or Enterprise through sales.
Plus or Pro?
Plus is $20 a month. Pro comes in three tiers ($100, $200 and $500) with larger allowances and context windows. A side-by-side comparison with test results is planned.
